We prefer to keep the total number of people being photographed on a single backdrop, simultaneously, to 3 or less. For larger groups, we do offer Team Composite Images as an addition to any session.

The total number of individuals we can photograph per day depends on the session type. Team Standard allows for a maximum of 25 people to fit within the time constraints of a single workday. Team Premium allows enough time for a maximum of 15 people per day.

The minimum number of people required to book a Team Session is 3.

We require a minimum of 10' x 12' to be able to fit the backdrop and all of our lighting equipment while still having enough space to photograph.

There is no fine print :) The TOTAL cost (minus PA Sales Tax) of your session, whether it is Team or Individual, in studio or on-location is the number you see next to the session description. It includes all of the items listed without any additional purchases required to obtain your images. If you would like to purchase additional images beyond what is included with your session, you are more than welcome to! We do not have "on-location" or "set-up" fees for our on-site Team or Signature Branding Sessions. Your retainer/deposit is already included in the price of the session and will be reflected as paid with the remaining balance due at the time of your session.

"Retouching" varies depending on client preference and session type.

Team Standard retouching includes, well, standard retouching! We adjust for highlights/shadows, apply light skin smoothing, and remove any non-permanent blemishes or scars. Noticeable fly-away hairs, such as those interfering with facial features, will be removed.

Team Premium retouching includes everything above as well as slightly more attention to detail in the eyes (including lightening the undereye area), removal of glasses glare, flyaway hairs, and clothing distractions (wrinkles, folds, creases). Additional requests are welcome to be noted at the time of your session.

Classic Headshot Sessions follow the same retouching guidelines as Team Premium.

Signature Branding Sessions, both in-studio and on-site, include the same retouching as Team Premium and Classic Headshots with the additional boost to contrast, clarity, depth, dimension... these images will reflect the mood, style, and personality of both your brand and yourself.

Brand Storytelling - This is the vibe of your business as a whole. It's you, it's the product or service you offer, the atmosphere of your workspace and the people inside... it's your montage. Examples might be shots of you shaking hands with a smiling customer, laughing with bandmates or fully immersed playing your instrument, standing next to a SOLD sign ...even images of the standalone product for advertising purposes. These are the images that bring your website together in a cohesive, interesting, and professional way.

Website Builder - This is the physical collection of edited images we capture with Brand Storytelling! Website Builders may be included with your session or available as an add on and are part of your final gallery but do NOT count towards the number of headshots included in your session.

Social Set - These are images sized specifically for use on social media so that the images don't lose quality when you upload them. Social Sets may be included with your session or available as an add-on.

Composite - We individually photograph 2 or more people and then use the magic of Photoshop to create a single image that looks like everyone was photographed at the same time. Composites are the group pictures you see on solid background billboards, for example. They guarantee that each person in the final image looks their absolute best without "swapping heads" or looking unnatural.

Social vs Web vs High-Resolution - Social media LOVES to squash (compress) beautiful, crisp, colorful images into blurry, faded, shadows of what they were before you uploaded them. By sizing the ORIGINAL image appropriately, we can avoid these atrocities. We include additional sizes of each image so that you receive images you can use anywhere without sacrificing quality between platforms. Web sized images are designed to load faster. High-resolution is what you want for all of your print purposes.

"Looks" - Each set of images has a look. There may be 3 in one pose, 3 in another, then 3 more in a different outfit entirely.

PNG is the image file type that we would use to create a composite. It allows us to remove the background, or make it transparent, to overlay on top of other branding materials. PNG is a larger, higher quality, file size than JPEG. Social media LOVES to squash (compress) beautiful, crisp, colorful images into blurry, faded, shadows of what they were before you uploaded them. By sizing the ORIGINAL image appropriately, we can avoid these atrocities. JPEG is already a compressed file to keep the massive size of the original file manageable... we don't want to compress it any farther! We include additional sizes of each image so that you receive images you can use anywhere without sacrificing quality between platforms. Web sized images are designed to load faster. High-resolution is what you want for all of your print purposes.
